Its amazing how much this single rant by Az has spread. There are dozens of bigger names doing the same rant, with the same virtriol, yet this particular one is the hill they keep shooting at.

I can only assume its because he was man enough to have his face attached to it instead of the Cartoon Avatar Rantsona, and the guy's bald head and chubby looks fit into their stereotypical "manbaby" appearance.
