They are always against gatekeeping whether its hobbies, countries, gender , etc. etc. They always talk like gatekeeping is a bad thing

They are against anything that doesn’t let them get what they want, and what they want is always power and influence.
In this case, gatekeeping doesn’t let them contort a hobby into their own twisted vision of what it “should” be, which would be a mirror of the leftist’s values.
