Madame Web is supposed to be like 80, blind, and paralyzed. Judging by the trailer, I think I would rather watch a movie about her. This looks like more attempts to appeal to women that won't work because it's absolute shit.
And her blindness was due to the premonition powers and got passed on with said powers to the next madame web.
