Play some games that'll calm you down instead and mellow you out, and reduce or stop playing games that'll make you rage. In my case, I think switching over to playing single player games with good messages and relationships were nice and helpful for me, and just games you play for yourself period. Genres like JRPGs (e.g. the Trails in the Sky trilogy) , and games like Neptunia were nice for me.
I used to have some serious vidya rage as a teenager (never on the level of breaking or throwing stuff thankfully, but it was still pretty bad). I also had a bit of a short fuse in general too, but especially with vidya.
I've found that multiplayer competitive games are the worst for rage and causing this issue. For example, I used to be addicted to League as a teenager, then I just did a ranked grind to basically "prove" I could make it to the top, but right before I made it to Diamond rank, I basically was just "done". I hated the entire experience (though I was already growing tired of league before that point) and I never played league again after that basically. I was also pretty hard raging as a teenager at games like CoD as well. Take games less seriously when you do play things like multiplayer games as well.
For example, after League I briefly switched over to CS;GO for some time, and I didn't take it nearly as seriously. I mostly just hung out in voice chat with my friends and randoms and would just play the song "BOSS NIGGER" over the audio for shits and giggles to see how people and my friends would react, it was a funny time. Play less modes like "ranked" or ladder or whatever. Eventually I phased that out too.
Plus you'll likely just mellow out over time as you get older. I'm a lot more calmer than I used to be (though if I'm in an argument if I'm getting really irritated, sometimes I do just fly off the handle, but it happens far less often than I used to).
