I believe it probably happened, but it was extremely rare. Why? Because locking people up with their abusers is exactly what happened. They just obviously have no proof it was a major problem.

The bigger issue is they want to pretend like the lockdowns were justified, until something they can spin happened and now it's "we were against these the whole time! We didn't know!"
