The dude is unfortunately just fragile. You can tell it bothers him and he can't roll with the punches or make it fun.

Also, his gait while wearing boots is highly suspect. He should take this whole run as a giant teachable moment for next time.

I think what did it for me was his apparent waffling about whether to run or not. Either do it or don't.
