I only realized this since they started cramming all the homoerotic stuff into movies and TV, which as a heterosexual, obviously grosses me out.
But it got me thinking about equivalent hetererotic scenes and I realized...I don't like them either.
Usually they're just cringe, if not actually gross, and at best they're unnecessary. It's not like the details of a sex scene ever advance the plot or develop character so they're just masterbatory. They're always trying to make sex look good, which it objectively doesn't, because that's all they can do in a visual medium. Porn works because the viewer is only there for masterbation, but I'm not going to whip anything out for 5 minutes of lip sucking under a blanket any time soon.
I don't mind sexy characters, or even explicit fan sevice if it doesn't get in the way, but if the movie properly sets up the context that leads to two characters having sex, I don't see the point of lingering over the act itself.
Frankly i literally quite find fan service distasting. I can understand some nudity if it's natural in the context, but let's be honest 99% of it is forcefully stuffed in.
Even movies i like, like three days of the condor, i realized that the part with the woman is frankly completely useless to the plot and it would have been a far better movie without it.
The fact is, most of the audience is female, and females crave sexual action and drama. So authors try to snug some in even if it's a male centric movie.
Hot take: I don't like sex scenes in movies.

Same.
