Seems the opposite to me. Reddit doesn’t want footage of mutilated civilians, rape victims with bloody pants being loaded into vans, entire families mourning their executed children with their remaining children taken hostage, to get any publicity.
Cause that might lead people to think Islamic terrorists are maybe less than perfectly intersectional victims.
“The whole thing” being the indiscriminate execution, rape, and kidnap of civilians, specifically and intentionally women and children. Nearly a thousand by current count.
I’m not about both sides here, sorry. I’m not about either side, to be honest. I don’t give a rip.
But that shit is fucking baseline evil. I’ve seen the videos they’re trying to censor. There’s a very good reason the censors want to limit their reach. What happened in Israel over the weekend is an absolute abomination, millennia removed from civilization as we know it, and a clear threat to the pristine and blameless image of so-called downtrodden protected classes.
I agree with you. I'm simply pointing out that if the left could figure out who outranks who they would be acting differently. They wouldn't have a problem showing how evil Hamas is if they decided Jew outranks Muslim. But if they decided that Muslim outranked Jew Predditors would be celebrating what's going on, and they would be covering it up as they are now. The difference is they're censoring discussion of the entire conflict instead of making friend/enemy distinctions in their moderation like they usually do. The video censorship is just a small part of what they're doing here.
I’m pointing out that there is no equivalence between sides here. Do not forget what really happened.
Because I guarantee that though Reddit and mass media have censored the Hamas-produced videos of unspeakable crimes, they will breathlessly promote Hamas-produced videos of “unspeakable crimes” (i.e. some rubble and maybe an apartment building collapse) in the coming days.
Maybe you will be swayed. Maybe you will not. But there is, and this post is evidence of, a clear effort to whitewash these crimes. “Both sides” is the vehicle that whitewashing rides first.

I think it's both. Both sides have woke protection and they can't agree who's higher on the pecking order so they just censor the whole thing.

I don’t necessarily disagree with you.
