Kind of fun to watch the blurbs progress. It went from "I didn't pull the alarm - you're being silly/racist!" to, after the video was released, "I pulled the alarm but I didn't know what it would do!".

Note: He's a former school principle.

Next evolution by the media is "He pulled the alarm and here's why it was the right thing to do. So brave. Please clap."
