dunno enough about the other two to comment, but Ed and Loki are bad examples. Loki may be a bit flamboyant, but unless they've changed something drastic int he films recently, he's still a dude.
Ed is androgynous to the point that a couple of characters can't figure it out, but it's expressly stated that she's a girl at least once that I can think of...
yeah...I never got into invader zim (not really sure why, think I missed the window where it was on tv, didn't have cable at the time). tried to watch after, and I just didn't have the nostalgia effect to make it entertaining. I'm sure it was fine, it just didn't really grab my attention...
