The right laughed at Anita Sarkeesian, and then she got every single thing she wanted in video games with absolutely no meaningful resistance.

Primarily because "The Right" at that time was fighting a losing battle of, "I just want good games, I don't care about the politics or the developers politics."

Well, I care about the politics & about the developers politics. If a developer signed on to a public declaration: "Humans are created Man and Woman" or "Communists are not Human" I would buy their game.
