There is a push to reintroduce the death penalty after the jailing of Lucy Letby (while conveniently ignoring the case of Andrew Malkinson). "Only for the most serious crimes" they will say. Chinny reckon. We all know what happens when such powers are brought in, the slippery slope becomes a prophecy and then reality.
