They will never acknowledge that it is murder because that would make them murderers. It’s the same thing with parents who trans their kids. Either you pressured your own troubled child into irreversibly mutilating and sterilizing himself, or your child was somehow a girl inexplicably trapped in a boy’s body. The parents have to believe the latter because the former would be unforgivable.
