It's really not as over the top as the article claims. You don't have to engage in the sexual stuff if you don't want to. You as the player decide which dialog options to choose, and it's pretty clear when one will lead to sexy time, you you can avoid it if you'd like.
I spend very little time in camp. I go there for long rests and inventory management. If a character has something important to say I'll talk to them, but 99% of time I am exploring the overworld and killing shit.
Also in the article the author complains about how the characters all walk around in sexy underwear in camp. Yes, they do that... I f the player manually inequity their clothes. So the author complains about all the sex, yet went around and stripped all the characters.
