I know I'm late to the party, but that's intentional because i don't like crowded theaters. I won't spoil it on the off chance there's anyone left who wants to see it but hasn't, but it's a great movie. What struck me is that it took them 5 fucking years to get this movie to the box office. It seems the Democrats pulled out all the stops to snuff this movie out.
Then when I was leaving I saw a group of girls dressed up in pink about to see the Barbie movie. They were probably in the 9-15 age range. I bet they got their first real taste of feminism today by getting creeped out by some virtue signaling male feminist in attendance.
I'm honestly surprised that young teens actually even still care about barbie, I thought it was mainly millenials who had a past nostalgic history of barbie coming out in droves and that the newer generation was on some new shit by now.
I assume the toys kept selling after the 00s as they have been since the 60s. That's girls' main interaction with the franchise as far as I know.
