I haven't watched much content with Ahsoka in it but my understanding is it's more a case of she's Dave Filoni's OC waifu than she is a girlboss.

She's a girl-boss because she's Filoni's OC waifu, one he repeatedly refuses to let die despite having several opportunities to do so with dignity.
