As a kid I’d get annoyed when my mom had me reading books during the summer or listen to tapes about the Bible but as an adult all that is greatly appreciated. She even used to have us listen to tapes with vocabulary words to learn. Those have proved very helpful in life.
It took me a while but in my late 20s I realized just how dumb I was to think my parents didn’t know what they were talking about. I’m blessed that they retired in the county I live in and are in good health. I happily take any advice they provide now
It’s awesome to see someone in Gen Z so immersed in scripture. Although my generation (being born in 80 I’m either a very young gen x student r very old millennial) has those like that. Did you grow up going to church? I did and while I never stopped believing I got lazy and stopped going when I got out of the Air Force. Started going again in 2017 and now I am one of the youth leaders and help with other stuff at church.
