I was raised Lutheran.

This is one reason I stopped going to my Lutheran church.

The thing with several denominations is that individual churches are going to vary based on the community they're in and the persuasion of the leadership (pastors, lay leaders, etc). In a way, one might consider it like a "spectrum."

True, the one I went to was nothing like this.

But I'd heard the governing body above it was pushing this bullshit.

Not that denominations really matter. Where there are two...

I have...no clue what either of those two are.

Mine was the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (sinn-ud).
