Not especially. I got the title for free and I was glad I didn't pay for it. But then I'm very much the kind of person who plays games for the game part of it and not the experience part of it.
yeah, I hear you, that's why I'm disappointed. I like the concept, but I still want something fun and a little bit challenging to play, not somebody's old college thesis short story turned into a "video game," lol

any suggestions on a better title with a similar theme of playing a cat? Something with a little more meat on the bones?

Well imo this isn't remotely challenging. It's cute and engaging for a while, that's about it.
