Because even the state-controlled Rouleau Commission found that there was no foreign interference from the USA?

Every single organizer who was arrested was Canadian and over 90% of the findraising came from Canadian sources.

Was it because they were cross-border truckers, and thus exposed to American influence? Straight to the gulags!
