Men have big egos because they think it will attract women, which more often than not it does. Doing stupid shit, wearing stupid clothes, driving stupid cars and spending stupid money is all to attract and keep females happy. Older single men that don't want women in their lives almost always live extremely minimalist lifestyles with no ego.
