His version of Count of Montecristo is also really good.
One of his early movies (Outlander) is a retelling of Beowulf as a sci-fi movie. Really good. And old enough that it has One Million Years B.C.-esque hot chicks in furs fan service.
I remember and other sci-fi beowulf with christopher lambert, but that was not a great movie hahaha
anyway, gonna check Outlander. Is it similar to the tv series of the same name? My girlfriend likes this one a lot.
Completely different. Pretty much Star Trek alien crashing in Viking village and fighting alien beast he brought with him.
Also, the Lambert version of Beowulf had naked Rhona Mitra in it, so it was tolerable.
