For me, I don't think he has a chance (because basically only regime-approved candidates do), but I'd be happy in the impossible case that he defeated Biden, because he seems like a decent fellow if a bit naive sometimes.

The best Democrat running, by far. Not that that's saying much.
Someone else said something similar, but he's excellent on one or two issues, and as bad or nearly as bad as other libs on many others. Which is too bad, as I'd love a good Dem candidate, so it didn't feel like everything is hanging over the precipice. I'd still take him over Biden, Kamala, et al, in a heartbeat, though.
I really appreciate his presence, if nothing else, and hope he gets on the debate stage. I'm wary of his environmental stances, among others, but overall he's alright, and I think his heart is in the right place, which is a rare thing for a politician.
He is more Teddy Roosevelt on climate/environment than the green agenda NPCs. He's stated a few times that it's the big oligarchs that should be regulated, rather than sticking the middle class/poor with the restrictions.
Where I think he's weak on is 2A and some progressive shit. I don't think he'd push back hard enough against the identitarian bullshit, and certainly will be no help, even antagonistic vs gun rights.
However, he's an outsider to the swamp, and I'll vote for him over any neolib/con.
I'll still vote for Trump or DeSantis if either win the RNC primary. DeSantis I don't know his foreign policy, he might go warmonger to keep the swamp off his back (or just show true colors, who knows?). I like some of the things Vivek Ramaswamy says, but.. I also get the impression he's just bullshitting. I don't have a good read on him yet.
Good, but he's also the one who said 'climate deniers' belong in prison. Huge red flag.
Totally agreed. He's far from the worst, and I'd be relatively happy with him as president, despite my misgivings, compared to many of the other options.
I really don't trust DeSantis. It's weird, since I acknowledge he's definitely one of the better governors, but I've never trusted him, and still can't. I wish he wasn't running, he should just stay in Florida; I don't want him to be president, despite his good deeds and words. He rubs me the wrong way, what can I say? And, yeah, Vivek is a snek, in my opinion. He says the right things, but I can't trust him either. As for Trump...I hate that he's the best option, and I'm no fanboy, but for me it's Trump or bust. For all his flaws, he at least pushes things in a better direction, even unintentionally.
Did he? I thought he was a civil libertarian. At least he sounds like one. If he actually said this, it's crazy.
It's a bit hard to track down, but here's one that's very close. 2014.
If you want to find more info, just look for 'climate deniers robert f kennedy,' 'climate deniers should be locked up,' or similar.
He's focused more on politicians and corporations, than individual people (although I do think he once said something very similar to my original quote, and then walked it back. But it's still ideological totalitarian nonsense.
In his defense, it was a long time ago, and in a emotionally charged environment...but retarded is still retarded.
My point still stands that I think he'd still be a better president than almost all the other retards, but we certainly can't disregard his red flags.
