Basically a standard diet/exercise plan, but with the twist that the progression is couched in gamer lingo like "leveling up" etc.
I dunno, seems like it could work... =/

Back when I was a kid, one of the only games we had on our xbox 360 (until over the years when we got more) was an NBA 2K game, which got me interested in basketball eventually and I ended up playing it a ton IRL and got fairly healthy and pretty gud.
However... as an adult I don't think that would work with me anymore. I think people just need encouragement or a push, and a plan of some sort (even if its just "I will slowly improve on this treadmill every day at this time"). Your idea probably isn't terrible and it has good intentions, but yeah, I dunno how useful it'd be.
Personally if you want something similar like what you're describing that seems to be successful (though idk if its only for its novelty purposes), try going to those YT channels talking about X fictional characters' workout routines (i.e. Saitama, Ippo, DBZ characters, etc.) and how feasible they are IRL, people seem to enjoy those, even watched a few myself a few days ago out of curiosity, maybe there's something about those things worth taking inspiration from.
fair enough, lol.
