The left wants to face off against Trump so they would want to show Trump constantly gaining in the primaries.
Look at how leftwing pollsters Morning Consult, Emerson and Harvard Harris polling always show extremely high numbers for Trump in the primaries compared to other polls.
Meanwhile there are some Trump affiliated pollsters on the right who want to keep their gravy training rolling and without Trump as the nominee, their grift ends example: pollsters Rasmussen and Richard Baris' Big Data Polling so they have different incentives to pump up Trump.
