In regards to the argument about how she should have abandoned the bike rental to the ghetto trash and fled, she would likely have to SUE the rental company and possibly HER BANK to have false charges removed from her bank account.
She does not have "fuck-you" money to go financially assrape large companies who screw her over when there is low chance of recovering losses including lawyer fees.
It kind of depends on the bank. I've seen some of my banks just recognize it's an erroneous charge and just refund the money without more than a cursory investigation. A bike rental for a few dollars isn't going to bother them.

I believe the fine is 1400 dollars or something in that direction for not returning the bike.
