I'm glad I don't live in corrupt shithole where former politicians who- go against the establishment- uh- get arrested- on trumped up charges... hmm- nevermind.

Persecution of political rivals shamefully happens in every country.

They used to be more subtle in the West but those in power will always find a way to utilize the system to lash out at their political foes.
