I wasn't sure if you'd be talking that far back. Usually Post-Crisis is pretty well regarded, is it not? It's certainly where many of my favorite stories come from.
I don't know as much about Marvel's era delineations as DC's though.
Wonder Woman has usually been among the weakest in terms of solo series. Lots of great potential villains, never used in a way that made her popular. The fact that by her nature she attracts feminist writers even more than most comics probably hasn't helped her.

The only DC I can remember reading is wonder woman in elementary school. They restarted that twice, and there have been articles about how bad it is.
