I turned 40 last month. I’ve been confused as hell about a lot of things the younger generation does. Someone my age was talking about another weird Gen Z tendency and he just kind of spit out the sentence “Zoomers are just, like, alien pixies from another dimension or something.” That’s kinda how I feel too, about a lot of the stuff Zoomers do. The real answer of course is that they are te first generation to have been mentally shattered by growing up on the internet, being prescribed pharmaceuticals out the ass, and being attacked constantly by postmodern critical theory in schools. Of course they don’t interact with the world in any way that was considered human before. The internet started working its evil on my generation of course, but we had normal childhoods at least, if not normal teenage-hoods. Doctors also liked to prescribe shit to us, but while the ADHD / depression industry was evil, it pales compared to modernity which still has that, plus also the trans medical industry on top of it.
Zoomers are broken, man. Not all of them, but certainly the ones you’re gonna find on Twitter. The final result of the above is a generation with no social skills and which doesn’t believe in anything from day to day, except what’s convenient in the moment. So when you ask them how it makes sense to ask for money for vibrators for their “polycule” to use just because they had a tweet go viral, the best they can answer with is “Yeah.” Good luck to all the sane Zoomers, your peers are fucking broken.
