I remember these same issues from conferences I have been to, in-person, myself. The stream almost always failed in some way. And this is the same shit.
It's like, it's so bloated, and so tech-illiterate, as to be almost completely unusable. And yet it's ubiquitous. Eugh...
Zoom and Teams is unironically better than YouTube for streaming (Zoom can’t even ingest rtmp yet, let that sink in). Most corps do use expensive streaming orgs like Brightcove, although it’s probably better for multinationals with money to burn on gourmet meals and exotic plants.

I forget what it’s specifically from, but it’s roughly the equivalent of signing “regards” in one language or another. I believe it’s an old meme from 4chan’s /int/ board.
