boomers held onto power, and jobs too long. I think their defining characteristics are "I've got mine, so they can fight over the rest like I had to" not realizing the wealth and opportunity they were born into, and blaming everyone else before them or after for the problems they caused as they raided and squandered the public commons.

They resent their own children, and never let them have power politically and in the workplace, and if you wanted to keep them in your lives, power over your personal relationships, career, and hobbies, and always in a misguided way taking into account none of your own needs or desires & based on outdated ideas of a world that doesn't even exist any more. now that they are finally being forced to retire, or die, they want to skip over all the adults, and hand things over to their spoiled grandkids.

Spoiled by the boomer grandparents who want to make up for fucking over their own kids. spoiled by their parents, overcompensating for the shitty upbringing of their own boomer parents and trying to give their own kids a 'better childhood' but still giving them just as shitty of parenting, just in the opposite direction. Spoiled by technology and instant gratification. spoiled by being completely isolated from the real world and fed propaganda their entire lives before being tossed into the world with no real preparation, much like their parents but to an even more extreme degree.
