That isn't entirely true.

Iran is rich in resources, and China is always looking for resources. If Israel wants to turn the Arabs to glass China would be happy to provide political protection for Israel assuming they are allowed to get the resources.

China never lets a chance to get more resources go to waste, plus it would embarrass America in two different ways. They'd be onboard.
