Honestly same. The actions taken as of late have been quite the eye opener, and have pretty much permanently damaged my trust of our medical institutions
Same. Don't want to dox myself, but I have undergraduate and graduate degrees in the hard sciences, did coursework in immunology, and substantial graduate work in drug design. I used to eyeroll traditional anti-vaccine sentiments, but this new breed of "vaccines" and the bootlickers/collaborators that came with it have irreversibly destroyed any institutional trust I had -- that goes for healthcare, academia, the government, and my fellow man in general.
My biggest issue isn't even efficacy or the lack thereof. Imagine the COVID-19 shots were 100% effective for all claims, I still don't think that justifies forcing injections on everyone. We should all have the ultimate say on what medical procedures we undertake, and there should be no "consequences" from third parties from making decisions over personal healthcare. You're autonomous or you're not.
I would suggest there may be some caveats related to working in the healthcare field specifically (but certainly not for shots that have zero benefit). I still have a tough time with that and it's difficult to reconcile my personal autonomy principles on that matter.
This is a docu from 2016, to be clear. The maker of this is ICAN's Del Bigtree who recently completely destroyed Neil Degrasse Tyson in a discussion on the covid jabs. I was wondering why I had no clue that it happened at the time (April 7th-ish), but skimming it quickly made it obvious why the jab cheerleaders are not signal boosting it in any way. NDT looks terrible, exposes the pro-vaxx side to be insane MUH CONSENSUS cultists, and redditor-type scientismos are incensed with him for going on the show at all. Their beef seems to be that his argumentation was lacking because he didn't smear Bigtree as a conspiracy theorist enough times.
I've linked it elsewhere but a good companion video is Raymond Obomsawin's History of Harmful Vaccines talk, which suggests to me that the kind of gaslighting they employed to promote the mRNA jabs has constituted the entire vaccine narrative for 150 years or more.
As a bonus, have some snippets from an attendee of the World Vaccine Congress last week:
More than 3,100 people, largely from the pharma and biotech industries and regulatory affairs, attended the event.
During the three full days of the conference, neither I nor Dr. Elizabeth Mumper, a Virginia-based pediatrician and strong advocate for vaccine safety, encountered another physician presently in clinical practice.
The event was open to anyone willing to pay the entry fee, which started at $495 for students and went up to $1,000+. But from what I could tell, this was largely a gathering of big and small pharma, biotech and leaders in regulatory affairs.
Introduction to the conference: Anti-vaxxers are dangerous, expect annual COVID vaccinations
Dr. Gregory Poland, director of vaccine research at the Mayo Clinic, delivered the opening remarks.
[...]
This first session was possibly the most fascinating 90 minutes of the entire week. Poland, I learned in a brief conversation with him after the conference, is also a pastor. His oratory skills were on full display during his opening and closing remarks, quoting both William Wordsworth and William Shakespeare among others. He asked us to acknowledge the limitations scientists have when looking at the world through the lens of duality.
Poland is also vaccine-injured.
In February 2022, Poland reported suffering from significant tinnitus after receiving the second dose of “an mRNA vaccine.” At the time, Poland described his symptoms as “extraordinarily bothersome.” Nevertheless, he chose to receive a third dose (monovalent booster).
Poland’s commentary on the COVID-19 mRNA vaccines was extremely positive. He said the rapid deployment of the new therapy saved millions of lives and would have saved millions more if it weren’t for the disturbing trend of growing vaccine hesitancy.
I assumed that his vaccine-induced tinnitus had resolved over the last year. It was only at the end of the conference, several days later, when he told me personally that his symptoms were still debilitating, making his unmitigated support of these products even more astonishing.
Poland set the tone for the four-day conference in the first 10 minutes. In his mind, the COVID-19 pandemic was halted through the hard work of our regulatory agencies and the remarkable products borne of the mRNA platform.
The only failure came in the form of “inexplicable” vaccine hesitancy, a phenomenon driven by anti-vax pseudoscientists who are profiting from spreading baseless, fear-driven propaganda.
Marks [a director at the FDA] supported Poland’s position that the vaccine-hesitant are irrational, “It’s crazy that they don’t get how great vaccines are,” he said. “I am past trying to argue with people who think that vaccines are not safe.”
This remark was particularly disquieting to me. What is it going to take for the director of the FDA’s CBER to ever reassess the safety profile of the mRNA shots, especially if he no longer wishes to engage with those who disagree with him.
“How can we get the public to understand that science is iterative?” Heaton [a Johnson & Johnson woman] asked. “COVID vaccines save lives!”
Poland responded: “Can we get an amen?!!”
At this stage you can't convince me this entire orthodoxy is not a cult.
I never questioned vaccine safety until I saw how fraudulent the covid vaccine was rolled out.
I think we need to look at how long this fraud has been going on for…

What's messed up is the cdc knew over 20 years ago and covered it up.

That's part of what woke up RFK Jr on the issue.
