Reminds me of the Seinfeld bit about names being destiny, his example being, name your kid Jeeves and you’ve created a future butler. Same appears to be true here. Even if Karen hadn’t become slang yet when any current Karen was given that name, it seems the universe has spoken and turned their brains belatedly to their new and undeniable destiny.
