I really don't think Peach is going to go from girlboss to damsel, thats expecting too much out of Hollywood

Maybe, but it's obvious we've only seen two or three parts of the movie from the trailers (Mario coming to the Mushroom Kingdom, the Rainbow Road chase sequence, and Luigi's interrogation/capture) so who knows how the movie will actually turn out? I'm waiting for spoilers before I determine whether I'm going to take my kids to see it.
