"No no comrade I wasn't making fun of Dear Leader's ideology."
"I understand you are doing what's right but won't you be a good party member and follow me to the commissariat to straighten this misunderstanding out like a good party member?"
"Sure comrade"
Once there, he is put in jail in solitary confinement and subject to starvation for 7 days.
In those seven days he keeps telling himself it's a mistake and it will all be sorted out. On the 7th day he has his first interrogation, the interrogator has prewritten his confession and tells him he knows he hasn't been the only one who has made fun of pronouns. He tells him to sign the confession and name all of his co/conspirators.
He refuses to sign it, begs it's a misunderstanding and that's when they turn the interrogations into torture sessions until he signs the confession and names at least 10 "co/conspirators". They all go to the gulag and while they're working to death they dream of the day the party will rectify their mistake and grant them their membership back.
And just like that, his life ends - a statistic, nothing more.
