I know of the original power rangers. Did they rip off Super Sentai?

The "original Power Rangers" was based on/used footage and costumes from Zyuranger, the sixteenth Super Sentai series.

Thanks. I figured it was inspired by something from Japan. I thought it borrowed from Voltron as well.

I definitely need to check that out. I played with my Voltron action figure a lot as a kid and watched the cartoon.
