It's so stupid. Egg prices were super high in January and the news freaked out about it. I noticed normal eggs were $5-$6 and the store stock was unusually low.
My solution was to get eggs from costco, which didn't have shortages at all. It was like 5 dozen eggs for $15, so pretty cheap but... that's a lot of eggs. Anyway by the time my GF and I ate 5 dozen eggs the prices had come down.
Now they are up again. People just can't get their shit together.
I love Costco, basically we buy everything from there if possible. The only real down side is shitty hours and it's so fucking crowded. The only thing I like about the regular supermarket is that I can go at midnight when its empty and I don't have to deal with people. Costco is like a wuhan wet market, and people are so fucking retarded stopping their carts in the middle of the lane blocking traffic because they see a sample or some shit.
guess its time for powdered eggs to kick back off eh? something that folks might wanna know though you can dehydrate things like eggs and milk in your oven keep the heat low to avoid burning and check it every so often... huh can do jerky too its just a lot faster and easyier to use things like a food processer.

It's easier with toilet paper because people can stockpile it. Eggs spoil so people can't go quite as crazy with them.
Even when the news was causing an egg panic in January, Costco had pallets and pallets of eggs. The supermarket would run out, though.
