I know we focus on the trans issue here, which makes sense, given that one actually has biological consequences, and it’s certainly… Concerning, especially with the explosion of teenage girls deciding they are “trans” or “non-binary” or “queer”, but…
The drag thing, man… Even beyond the “drag queen story time” shit, they’re everywhere…
It’s not even online, it’s fucking ubiquitous in Australian metros. Ads, billboards, “drag queen bingo” at pubs, bars and every casino in the country; every public library (in cities) has to have “story time”…
I just don’t get this. It’s the most obnoxious, in-your-face “LGBTQ” thing I have ever seen, even beyond gay marriage.
I know this varies by country, but my impression is that the UK, US and Canada are pretty damn similar in this respect.
Conspiracy theories aside, this just seems like a very strange thing to me. Even as a “cultural signifier”, it’s still just bizarre, lol…
I think it is just a normal conclusion. Gays have been accepted for to long, even trans people were not an issue until child transitioning. Activists need to fight something, and you end up with increasingly absurd issues, like kids and drag queens together and it is treated like genocide if you don't agree with it.
You may even consider it as a test of "faith" for the left. Are you committed enough to allow openly sexual degenerates access to kids?
There is also the normalization of pedophilia and to take the focus from the mutilation and confusion of kids.
I think someone realized that putting the focus on "trans kids" is horrible for the alphabet mafia so now they just changed focus to something that is bad but is easier to defend, the kids are there by the will of their parents and they have the allure of "story hour" as something wholesome.
You see a lot more push by the usual suspects for drag queen story hour then trans kids and a year ago it was all about child mutilation and how you are literally Hitler if you did not allow that.
