So is it high fashion that's just all white, or just as plain looking as possible?
Because its going back and forth between the two, and they are incredibly different. The description of the actual trend leans to the first one, but the reaction is screaming as if its the second.
Looking at the picture examples, none of that is "affordable" to anyone below a Cali rich level girl. Nor do they elevate the look at all, other than making themselves look extremely out of place, both from the clear money spent and the deliberate fashion choice.
Which is why I'm confused. Because I can see the "plain girl" aesthetic being called such, but nothing in these images is anywhere close to what I'm being told. And not in the "clear narrative pushing" sense.
