Judo teacher avoids jail for attacking cops in lockdown class arrest

Daniel Carr (pictured), 37 from Heywood, Greater Manchester, used his judo skills to throw an officer to the ground before striking another on the wrist as he held a free children's class in February 2021.

Summary: he was trying to hold outdoor Judo classes for children when both cops tried to arrest and pepper spray him. The judge gave him community service after explaining he did it for the Children's Mental Health. Fun fact: check the names of the two arresting officers.
