Yes. And there are other proposed laws that are due to deal with such behaviour going through Parliament now, such as the Online Safety Bill, Protection From Sex-Based Harassment in Public Bill and the Worker Protection Bill.
The one thing the Barrister pointed out in the video is that the Public Order Bill to deal with thought crime does not require someone to commit the behaviour more than once like the legal definition of harassment requires. Indeed the forthcoming bills will in some cases only require someone to do something just once to fall foul of the law.
In Scotland, covered by Count Dankula in a video last night, such behaviour could attract a prison sentence for up to seven years if the SNP do introduce a new misogyny law.
