There won't be any pushback until someone loses something they can't afford to lose and decides to do something about it. I'm all in favor of people who haven't realized the situation putting their life savings into something the Feds can destroy on a whim.

Historically speaking, I think change might - and it's still might - happen after someone gets killed trying to defend themselves from the government trying to take all their shit. Martyrs are powerful, and that's how a lot of big change happens; the existing powers overstepping and murdering someone, even if it was just some nobody. Sadly, they're trying to crack down on all the pathways of information that would let people talk about their actions, too.
