Near to where I live, local authorities put the gay flag on the road, in a place where I drive often. It would be a damn shame if something happened to it.
Let's say, however, that I want to minimize risks to myself while doing so - what would it be, in your opinion, the best way to go about this undetected?
I already have a couple ideas of my own, but I would like to hear yours.
that's why I said it depends on the individual laws and how they are worded.
it might be illegal to intentionally "peel out" on a road depending on the laws. some laws might have intent requirements, others don't, etc. typically laws like this are down at the city level so you'd need to look at the city ordinances. the punishment is limited to an infraction (ticket) or misdemeanor, since local governments can't generally create felonies, only states can.
it might be a bad thing to deface these things, btw. if they are left up and intact, they piss people off as a display of LGBT supremacy. if they are damaged, now you flip that around to generating sympathy for the poor LGBTs getting their little flag ruined. plus once the libs discover this is a winning strategy for them, you will see these flags go up EVERYWHERE. so strategically, damaging them might be a very bad idea.
