The war in Ukraine has certainly led to some odd political opinions. I'm always surprised to see Antifa-types supporting Russia. They have no idea that only a regime like the one in the US would find them useful enough to allow them to exist.
The early slogans in broken English were like "Fashism Stop" and "Save Donbas From Nazi".
More recently Moscow even renamed and rebranded what used to be their annual ARMY military trade show thing as the "International Anti-fascist Congress". Communistic countries like Cuba or Venezuela participated in it still, 9 in total.
