That said, Islamic society is very different from converting to Islam though. A lot of right-wingers who believe ridiculous talking points about Islam (like that Islam mandates 'goat-fucking') won't like to hear this, but Islam actually mandates tolerance of other religions, while Globohomo tries to stamp them out.
If you are a Christian in an Islamic society, you can survive for 1400 years despite second class citizenship. If you're a Christian or any kind of traditionalist in a Globohomo society, you will be stamped out in short order.
And if you're an irreligious man who nevertheless understands the value of religion - or even just the value of not being a second class citizen, you have no reason to cling to the vestiges of Christianity. You will convert with little loss, and much to gain.
