This is always from a rectovaginal fistula in the neovagina. It rarely can self heal if it has this much indicated discharge. It is not too problematic to repair, but without a separating inserted mesh, adhesions can form, and an adhesion in these tissues creates later tearing again. Adhesions cause all sorts of long term problems in a wide variety of surgical procedures.
Fixing this fistula is important, but might later on require equally expensive adhesiolysis remedy.

This made me feel physically ill, and I work in health.
Well, there is nothing healthy about it so that's understandable.
