Same here. When they leap straight to threats of suicide / death as the first tactic in any fight, even fights THEY start, it sorta loses its shock value after a while.

But even outside of the gender nuttiness wars, there’s just generally a lot of positive reinforcement given to young people for getting into this aggressively-offended power bottom type position. Even if they hadn’t done the move themselves, they’ve undoubtedly seen their school peers execute the crybully move with great effect - seen teachers cowed into silence or fired, seen people get doxxed or banned online, and so on. This could be nipped in the bud even now if teachers and admins would stop deciding the truth of a situation by merely consulting the progressive-stack positions of the participants, and start demanding that young people show some fortitude, and simplest of all, stop rewarding crybullies every fucking time they demand something.
