Disney is rumored to buy Harry Potter from JK Rowling and Warner Bros. It actually makes sense, not the sale that's insane, but the propaganda against Rowling could be corporate. Remember all the corporate hate against star wars right up till Disney bought it?

It would make sense on the designed hate propaganda against Harry Potter there's just one major issue that Disney probably overlooked
The Harry Potter fanbase saw what Disney did to Star Wars so they'll likely go to war online to stop a sale and JK Rowling saw what they did to George Lucas so she'll likely tell them to fuck off too. Even with the fantastic beast series getting mediocre, they weren't openly hostile to the fanbase as the Disney star wars was to their fanbase.
I suppose it'll entirely depend on how much more money she wants at once through the sale vs how much she'd get over time with rights and royalties.
She makes billions every year. The Harry Potter areas at universal are so overcrowded I tend to skip them when visiting the parks. So it would need to be a lot.
