If this means removing the entire dumb love story plot from Dead Space 3 it might actually benefit the series. Could jump it up like 2-3 points on that alone.
Look man, it'll take more talent than they have to be able to craft something worse than the original.
They can make god awful shit easy, but the original Norton/Ellie plot in 3 is a bar so low they will need to be incredible writers to be able to undermine it.
